FLAME RETARDANT
These fabrics are typically woven from natural and/or synthetic yarns and then topically treated with a flame retardant chemical so that the material meets fire safety codes.
Flame Retardant Dense Filled Scrim
Leno filled cloth, also known as Leno filled scrim has a weave similar to that of Sharkstooth Scrim but with a more dense texture and the openings filled in. Flame retardant and made from 100% cotton yarn, it is widely used for bounce drops, lighting backdrops and cycloramas. Because of its soft-textured surface, Leno softness and diffuses reflected light, making it a favorite of lighting designers. It can also be used to project abstract shapes and patterns, but it will reduce the clarity and sharpness of high-resolution images.
Cut yardage fabric may be folded to ship via UPS. Full bales ship via LTL freight.
FR Leno Filled Scrim meets the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by the California State Fire Marshall for products identified in Section 13115, California Health and Safety Code.
